Building In Our Blood
My name is Michael Warrington. My father was a plumber / builder. Some of my earliest memories include watching dad work. I loved to play with his tools. And before long, I was building my own mansions (cubby houses) in our backyard.
While my four siblings went the white-collar route, I followed dad and joined his business. I spent seventeen years by his side, gaining a wide variety of skills (beyond plumbing), creatively solving problems, and serving customers. I’m thrilled to now have my children working beside me in the business.
A Better Way To Build
When I took the helm of the business, I branched out further into renovations, extensions, and new homes. My first renovation was on Lake Bonnie Doon (where the Kerrigans, from the movie The Castle, had their holiday house). Referrals flooded in and we were soon known more for building and renovating than plumbing.
As the business grew, I was determined to maintain our high standards and not fall into the bad habits of other builders who:
• Force you to accept the house they want to build rather than the home you really want
• Lure you in with a low price that skyrockets by thousands (in hidden variations) as the project proceeds
• Fail to plan and thus plan to fail (leading to delays and budget blowouts)
• Abandon their trades and hope they do what they are supposed to (leading to defects and poor workmanship)
• Leave you in the dark (not returning emails or phone calls) so you never know what’s happening
To ensure we maintained the high standards my father brought us up to follow, I created our 5C System:

Based on the experience we’ve gained from more than 90 projects over 27 years, we help you to clarify and refine your vision and offer suggestions on the best (most efficient and affordable) ways to bring your ideas to life.
Once we know exactly what you want, we cost everything fully, accurately, and honestly so you can plan with certainty. No low-ball estimates with hidden variations. No false promises and half-truths. We give you a realistic price upfront so you can make decisions based on accurate figures.
Before we lift a single tool, we schedule all building materials and tradespeople to ensure everything gets done on time and on budget.
Our tradespeople are highly skilled, experienced, and take great pride in delivering their very best on every project. But that doesn’t mean we merely leave them to it. No, we support them and check every aspect of their work to ensure premium workmanship.
