During our initial consultation, they expressed their desire for a spacious kitchen with modern amenities, yet one that would seamlessly integrate with the existing structure of their home. They also wanted to add an ensuite, alfresco area, and renovate several other rooms including bedrooms, laundry, dining, living areas, and their bathroom. We carefully assessed the existing layout and discussed various design options. It was evident that increasing the budget would be necessary to achieve the desired outcome without compromising on quality. With a clear plan in place, we moved forward with confidence.

To enhance functionality, we installed a central island with ample storage space and electrical outlets. The Spotted Gum hardwood floorboards added warmth and character to the room. Recessed lighting provided ample illumination while maintaining a clean aesthetic.
Seamless Integration of Modern Amenities
One of our primary objectives was to integrate modern amenities without disrupting the classic feel of the home. In the laundry room, we installed a Posh Canterbury wall 'gooseneck' sink lever set that added a contemporary touch while honouring the period-specific design elements.
In both bathrooms, we used Pastelle Sky tiles for the walls and installed Velux Skylights in the Ensuite to allow natural light to flood in. The Provincial Overhead Shower & Rail set by @armando_vicario tied together modern convenience with vintage charm also in the Ensuite.

Throughout the renovation process, we paid close attention to detail that would preserve the home's traditional character. Higher skirting boards (118 x 18) were installed along with Colonial MDF Ultraprime 92 x 18 Architraves around windows and doors.
Inside, renovations extended to two bedrooms where we applied straightforward colour palettes (Snowy Mountain & Vivid White) on walls complemented by Spotted Gum floorboards underfoot.
