In the heart of Moorabbin, Doolans Heavy Haulage had grown out of their other office space, and envisioned a transformation.
Not merely to expand their workspace, but to craft an epicentre of operations, where ideas would flourish, strategies would be forged, and the hum of productivity would resonate day in and day out.
Inspired by Doolans' brand signature, the goal was clear: a contemporary office, echoing modernity at every corner. A space not just for the administrative team but also a welcoming haven for truck drivers, the unsung heroes, to converge for pivotal discussions.
Every grand vision comes with its set of intricacies. The ambition to house state-of-the-art equipment and a bustling team on the first floor demanded architectural finesse.
Michael, with his seasoned expertise, collaborated with an Engineer, ensuring the added beams bore the weight of dreams and aspirations - making the offices, storerooms, and conference rooms use to house all their data equipment robust.
The transformation began from the outside, echoing the adage - 'First impressions last.'
The roof was rejuvenated, brickwork mended to perfection, and the facade painted with precision. The electrical intricacies, from powering workstations to ensuring seamless surveillance through CCTV, culminated in an upgraded switchboard.
The HVAC system, modernised to perfection, ensured a comfortable ambiance. Custom partitions, a servery window for truck drivers, and revamped glazing works all came together, complemented by the Golden Oak vinyl flooring and brand-aligned carpeting.
Timber battens, strategically placed behind the reception, not only added aesthetic appeal but also ensured privacy.
